I have traveled extensively throughout the world, which has provided me with invaluable lessons and an understanding of dealing with people from various cultural backgrounds.
I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and spent most of my youth in Scotland and England. After graduating college with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, I emigrated to Zambia, to work in a copper mine. After spending 3 years in Africa, I moved to the United States to be closer to my family. Since moving here, I have lived and worked in North Carolina for all that time, primarily in the Triangle working in the IT industry. I have been a resident of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro area since 1996, where I made my move into real estate in 2004.
My engineering and IT experience has supplied me with considerable knowledge of customer service, and cultivated an acute attention to detail, which I feel is extremely important in the real estate market.
